i cant beleive we are still having this discussion, when he hits me you can clearly see my car HEADS towards the outside because he is clipping my rear, i add more steering lock and let off the throttle to try and get out of it, where as the guy touching me carries on flooring the throttle and turning (which means i cant turn!!)
watch my cars behaviour when he hit me it changed the angle of my car a GREAT deal. i was not trying to force him off on the outside, and had i have been trying to i would have admitted it (like i have admitted earlier in this thread)
anyone who thinks that was my fault must be blind because u can see my car all of a sudden change angle when he turns in on me
and how did i cause it? if he hadnt have hit me i would have carried on on my path and gone around the corner?
it was a racing accident that he turned in on me, but what annoys me is getting blamed!
u can even see me putting more steering lock on once he hit me the 1st time so i wouldnt run to the outside!
i wasnt trying to make a mockery of anyone, because i know DRSC are respected.
i was tryin to get them to watch the replay because they banned me witohut watching it, and i know im right that i couldnt steer after he hit me, so i thought they would see it the same way.

im not a hotlapper atall, i race in real life, and my drivin there was the way that people drive in real life
and how can anyone say i slid into al?? have u even watched the replay?
i admit my drivin in the 1st lap was 'agressive' but no1 was binned off were they?
well i dont understand how you people still blame me for taking out al when u can clearly see that my car is pushed to a different angle when he clips my rear
watch the replay from helicopter view, u can see my car cant steer properly when he hits me

are we all watching the same replay? he was on my outside turning into me, had i have braked i would have probably slid onwards and him kept turning in on me.

sigh, i did pass him cleanly, i made no contact, then he turned in on me, and made my car turn to the outside, what could i do?

i was racing at DRSC and i made a move on someone on lap 2 turn 1, however, he turned in on me and hit my rear so i couldnt steer! if u watch onboard from my car u can quite clearly see this! i was banned!!!

at the end of the day, i think that it depends on your level of experience and your reasons for playing LFS wheter you support the inside outside rules thing we are talking about.
when me and alan or other karters/racers race each other on sims or in real life, we KNOW that if we dont give way on the exits we will be off the track most likely, so we back off and no contact happens.
however, if we are to race people who dont know to back off, contact would happen.
i believe us racers are still right, but i guess it depends on wheter u are in it for fun or to learn real racing...

this is called neuro lynguistic programming, meaning your brain learns from simulators in the very same was as you do it in real life, and getting the same feeling watching is definatly a good thing because your brain is copying it!

hes telling me he knows about real life racing, and yet he says that squeezing someone is wrong. so he obviously doesnt race at a competative level. My point is that EVERYONE who races in real life at a decent level is saying that it is right, and all of u simmers with a serious lack of race craft think that its not right.

the reason why fisi didnt squeeze button, is because to squeeze button would have meant fisi going off the racing line, and visa versa. fisi tried to squeeze button on the exit of the 1st left hander, but becuase they were side by side button could hold it.
alot of people here dont understand real racing so its pretty pointless continuing, because its hard to know whats right until you have actually experienced it... in real life almost all people here would get BATTERED, apart from the sensible few, or the ones here with real experience.

before i raced in real life id try and go round the outside, now i realise its just pointless, and i had it furtherly proved to me a few weeks ago.
look at alans video, at around 40 seconds villeneuve totally stuffs the car up the inside, which makes the other fella see him and realise that he cant turn in. most LFSers would have gotten 50% beside and T boned the other fella, because they wanted to leave room on the exit.
